Here are 3 tips on how to dress well every day:
Bamboo can grow organically without the use of pesticides because it is naturally disease- and pest-resistant. Cotton is one of the most intensely sprayed crops in the world?! Not only is bamboo super soft, but the benefits of using bamboo instead of cotton are endless.
Did you know Bamboo grass is one of the fastest growing plants on Earth and it absorbs carbon dioxide and releases 35% more oxygen into the atmosphere than hardwood trees? This is why we think you should rethink fabric and think bamboo!
We only have one Earth, let’s all do our part to keep it clean!

This week Nudy Patooty is supporting Samahope's Nepal Earthquake Relief Fund.
On April 25th, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal. Impacted regions include the Western and Central regions of Nepal & parts of Northern India. The exact number of people affected is yet to be determined, but the Government of Nepal currently reports over 5,000 dead and more than 9,000 injured. The earthquake has destroyed much of Nepal’s infrastructure and rebuilding will take time.
To aid in immediate needs and longer-term rebuilding Samahope has set up a Nepal Earthquake Relief Fund. All funds will go directly to their on-the-ground medical partners in Nepal to serve their areas of greatest need. For Dr. Shankar Rai this will mean critical medical supplies and for Wangmo Thapa's team it will focus on rebuilding destroyed birthing centers. Donate now and help restore hope for the future.

Without a college degree or prior business experience, Sophia Amoruso made Nasty Gal profitable from day one because she had the instinct, discipline, and confidence to focus on her brand.
In 2006, Amoruso opened an eBay store to sell vintage clothes. Directionless at the time, she had an eye for style, photography, and thrift stores. The brand she built, named Nasty Gal earned a massive following that she created its own site which attracted nearly $50 million in backing from Index Ventures. She has created a sizable niche business that sells edgy, retro-inspired looks at reasonable prices.
Kristen Ess and Amy Nadine make up the two halves of The Beauty Department, and with both of their expertise, you get double the glamour.
“Sama means equal in Sanskrit, the ancient Indian language. It reflects a core value that my father taught my brother and me: all people are equally deserving of dignity and opportunity. He instilled in us a belief that we have a duty to help people who weren’t as lucky in life’s birth lottery.”
-Leila Janah, Samahope Co-Founder
2 billion people have no access to basic surgical care. Each year millions of women and children worldwide suffer from treatable medical conditions but lack the funds to undergo corrective surgery. In fact, the world's poorest 1/3 receive only 3.5% of all the surgeries performed worldwide. Thousands of charity clinics and hospitals try to fill this "surgical gap" with dedicated doctors and health workers, but must raise their own funds. These doctors each have the capacity to treat more patients, but lack the funds to reach patients in need.
Samahope connects individual donors to doctors who provide treatments in five high-impact, low-cost categories with a high return on investment: birth injuries, birth defects, burns, blindness and trauma.
In our partnership, Nudy Patooty will donate a portion of all sales from NudyPatooty.com to help fund a Samahope doctor each month.
This month, we are supporting Dr. Priscilla Busingye, a Catholic nun, the Medical Director of Holy Virika Family Hospital, and the only obstetrician and gynecologist in the Kabarole district of Uganda. In rural Uganda, the problem of maternal health is massive. As the only Ob-Gyn surgeon at the hospital, each month she performs approximately 200 deliveries (3-10 per day), 75 C-sections (0-5 per day) and 8 fistula repairs. With further funding she can provide more surgeries, and amplify awareness campaigns to reach rural women who are seen as “nobodies,” but who are very important women in this country.

]]>But as much as I love putting together new outfits, there are some mornings when I just can't find the right one.
That's why I love browsing new trendy blogs or revisiting favourite spots to collect ideas.
One of my best sources of inspiration right now is WeWoreWhat, a personal fashion blog that just keeps getting more popular.
And I can see why.
When I first visited the site, I instantly loved the street style of the photos. The founder and blogger Danielle Bernstein is so casually placed throughout NYC looking effortlessly fabulous and modern, it's impossible not to like her.
The NYC native in her early twenties has attracted a massive social media following and attention from big brands.
Her blog features big, beautifully realistic photos, and although some of her wardrobe is a little pricey, there are always suggested items at the bottom of each post for replicating the look.
Check out WeWoreWhat when you have a minute, you'll find some interesting ideas and a video featuring Danielle and her journey to becoming an elite fashion blogger.
Have a great week, and go get inspired!

Here are 4 tips on how to dress like Sarah Jessica Parker:
1) The Fancy shoes: Sarah’s outfit is never complete without a glamorous pair of high heels, and she pretty much put Manolo Blahnik on the map! A great pair of pumps can take any outfit from drab to fab and are a perfect way to play with bright colours and edgy prints.
2) The Spaghetti Strap: Sarah wears a lot of spaghetti strap dresses which shows off her tone arms. It gives off a flirty and au naturel look. Instead of wearing short sleeves or strapless try wearing a spaghetti strap dress for a more elegant edge.
3) The Cuff Pants: Sarah tends to cuff the hem of her jeans to show off her ankles. From denim or leather, she always puts her personal spin to them. Having a nice pair of jeans and wearing it your way always brings simplicity.
4) The Tutu Dress: Sarah is known to wear playful dresses and showing off her fun and quirky style. Who can forget the tutu and tank she wore in the opening credits of SATC?

We love makeup, but getting stains on your shirt? Not so much. Foundation ingredients are made for long wear, which causes them to be a big stain culprit. We can’t even count the number of shirts that have been ruined by a smear of foundation. Nothing is worse than having a cute outfit prepared for the day, only to find it completely ruined by a huge splotch of foundation on the collar. Next thing you know, you're struggling to find another shirt to wear and you're going to be late for work. Don’t worry because we have a stain removal trick so you don’t have to put those shirts to waste.
For Powder Foundation:
You want to get off any excess powder without rubbing into the shirt as soon as possible. Next, make a mix of white vinegar and water to remove the stain. Test it out on a small spot before going for the whole smear. Once you dab it into the fabric, launder it as usual.
For Liquid Foundation:
If the foundation ingredients are oil-free, use shaving cream on the stained area. If the stain won’t lift, add a bit of alcohol to the shaving cream. If the foundation ingredients are oil-based, use liquid detergent to counter the oil in your foundation. Finally, throw it in the wash to really get the stain out.
]]>1. PackPoint is not another checklist app, but an app that generates a customized list of items you should pack. All you need to do is plug in some basic information such as destination, length of stay, and purpose of the trip. Then the app will calculate what should go into your suitcase.
2. Constantly feeling jet-lagged on business trips? Entrain is meant to help you conquer that. Users enter in their sleeping habit into the app and when you schedule a trip, it will give you a schedule to help you reduce your jet lag.
3. Worldmate is a must-have for all business travelers. Worldmate combines all your flights, hotels, and cars information to build a business travel itinerary and a schedule for your meetings. In addition to this, it provides you with world clocks, maps, and weather forecasts.
4. Do you ever find yourself doing last minute research on a potential client before a meeting? Refresh helps you by sending you information on that person which is found from various social media platforms. Now you no longer have to worry about what to talk about with them the next time you meet.
5. Flight Aware lets the user know about their flight statuses at a glance. It can predict delays before they happen as well as give you tons of information on a flight ahead of time. This is especially handy when preparing to pack. While on flight it gives you the flights progression, it’s current altitude, and speed.
6. Uber users allow them to hail a ride with a tap of a button. Wait for their response and they will come to you in a few minutes by tracking your current location from your phone’s map. To make it easier, your payment and tip will automatically be charged from your phone.
]]>1) Make a list. Writing a list can help you visually see everything that needs to get done. You can set reminders on your phone or computer. Just ensure that your lists are actually attainable.
2) Set deadlines. Set a deadline and try to stick to it as much as possible. Try to have deadlines that are a few days before it absolutely has to be done, incase other things get in the way.
3) Don’t multi-task. Although it seems tempting to handle multiple things at once, sometimes it is not the most efficient or productive way to go. We are more likely to do our best work when we really focus on a sole task.
4) Delegate responsibilities. Many people like to take on more responsibility than they can handle. Find the right people to share some of the responsibility with and your stress level will decrease and your productivity will go up.
5) Take advantage of your downtime. Use it for relaxation as well as for planning. If you find yourself waiting in early morning traffic, perhaps this is a good time to start prioritizing your day.
6) Reward yourself. When you accomplish something, celebrate it! This gives you a boost of motivation when you know that you can reward yourself at the end of it.
