Our Story

We are Numi. A brand that celebrates what it means to be a woman.

We understand life's little unsaid quirks. And we think it’s OK to talk about them. After all, they’re what unite us and it's likely we share similar frustrations.

We make consciously created products that make life a little easier for us all and inspire a culture of kindness. Our products are a labor of love. We obsess over the finer details so you don’t have to; from the yarns we knit to the materials we choose to package our shipments. These things matter.

Everything we do, we do with care.  We care about women and how they feel, just like we care about supporting local factories and the impact we have on our planet.

It’s simple. We want to lead the way towards a more conscious and sustainable world.

Our Materials

Each Essential Undershirt is enhanced with a Contemporary Cotton gusset in the underarm. Contemporary Cotton is a high-performance fabric that moves moisture away from the body.  It keeps you cooler and drier.  And washes clean of odors.This gives you extra sweat protection while keeping you dry and comfortable. And keeps your clothes clean longer.

Our Essential Undershirts are made from TENCEL™, a sumptuously soft thermo-regulating fabric. It is sustainable and biodegradable. The fibers are sourced from natural raw materials and processed in a closed-loop production process. This process recycles water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of more than 99%, drastically reducing the impact on the environment. TENCEL™ fibres are also certified as compostable and biodegradable.

Being mindful of our impact is at the core of what we do. We like to think of it as a living commitment that grows and evolves with us. Right now, we're in the process of auditing our impact. Stay tuned. We'll be sharing the results later in the year.
